Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor Proposed Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday, Thursday 6a–4:30p Compensation: $26.50–36.00/hr based on experience. What you’ll do Escalate issues to Clinical Manager Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s) Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs Prioritize and organize workflows for shift Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including: Managing early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members Assigning team member responsibilities per shift Addressing process or employee issues during their shift Communicating schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely Serving as first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations Training and mentoring new team members Providing input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations Participate in on‑call responsibilities Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely Who you are Strong communication skills Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Perks and Benefits include Comprehensive Health Benefits Vision and Dental HSA, FSA, and Independent Care Spending 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off (PTO) Shift differentials and on‑call pay Uniform allowance Employee pet discounts and pet insurance Elective short‑term disability, life and accident insurance and company‑paid long‑term disability Continuing education opportunities and assistance program Strong career growth and personal development opportunities Come as you are.
