Registered Nurse Service Line Coordinator (Unit Coordinator)Charlottesville, VAFirst (Days)Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Service Line Coordinator (Unit Coordinator) for the Main OR in Charlottesville, VA. This is a full time, first shift position from 6:45A-3:15P with occasional call for PTO coverage. Ideal candidates will have Scrub, Circulation, or Procedural experience in sterile fields.Call: 1 to 2 shifts per 6 weeks schedule on average.Department Information: Performing an average of 7,000 cases each year, the Operating Room at SMJH has 8 OR suites and offers a variety of service lines including; Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular/Thoracic and Orthopedic surgery. It is also the 2nd highest-performing OR in the Sentara system for Orthopedic total joint procedures.Sentara Martha Jefferson has under a 12.6% RN Turnover ratePatient Satisfaction scores are highest in the system at Martha JeffersonSentara Martha Jefferson Foundation education assistance program up to $32,500Free Parking at Sentara Martha JeffersonThe Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.
