Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist - Pediatric

Requisition #:669841 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category: Radiology/Imaging Schedule: Day Shift | Employment Type: Full Time Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients (fetal through adulthood) with general or complex cardiac conditions including Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Travel to eight (8) locations – Baltimore, Annapolis, Towson (GBMC), Westminster, Columbia, Frederick, Water's Edge, Hagerstown, and Bethesda. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Completion of approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography. Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). CPR card within three (3) months of employment. Six (6) months of scanning experience (clinical or student). Must obtain pediatric echocardiography registry within two (2) years. Pediatric echocardiography cardiology experience strongly preferred. Shift Details Full Time (40 hours) 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday. Rotating Saturday and Sunday coverage (8:00am – 12:00pm).
