Experienced Cook – University Dining
Location: Kingston NY
Immediate Openings | Weekly Pay
We're hiring experienced Cooks for an immediate opportunity supporting a busy university dining operation in Albany, NY. We're looking for dependable culinary professionals who are comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment .
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and production needs
- Work grill, sauté, fry, oven, and other kitchen stations
- Prepare food for high-volume meal periods
- Follow portion, quality, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup as needed
- Previous professional Cook or Line Cook experience required
- High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred
- Experience in university dining, corporate dining, hotels, catering, healthcare, or restaurants is a plus
- Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
- Able to follow recipes and production sheets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
- Weekly pay
