Job Title and ID Travel Physical Therapist – Rehab (Job ID #P-706877) Assignment Overview Location: Alturas, California Start Date: 07/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Openings: 3 Responsibilities Direct and coordinate physical therapy services across the department. Evaluate and treat patients ranging from neonate to geriatric populations. Administer prescribed physical agents and modalities. Oversee departmental quality improvement and CQI activities. Review and ensure accuracy of patient charges and billing. Train nursing and other hospital staff as needed. Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist; 3+ years preferred. Current California PT license (or OT license if applicable). Current BLS/BCLS certification. Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written; additional languages preferred. Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in crisis situations.
