Team Lead

Position Overview CircusTrix dba Sky Zone Team Lead – Full‑time onsite. Department: Operations. Reports to: General Manager. FLSA: Non‑Exempt. We host birthdays, team events, and school parties across the country, focusing on fun, safety, and quality experiences. Role Overview This hands‑on, early‑leadership role is designed for high‑potential individuals ready to step up. The Team Lead rotates through Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities to gain experience managing a full shift. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations – Act as Manager on Duty when GM/OM are absent, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and team accountability. Provide on‑floor coaching, support, and delegation across departments. Guest Experience & Sales – Drive membership and program sales, engage guests, identify opportunities, and promote park offerings. Mentor team members in customer engagement. Safety & Compliance – Enforce safety policies, complete incident reports, conduct opening/closing procedures, maintain cleanliness and operational readiness. Rotational Leadership Development Sales & Service Lead – Drive front desk performance, membership sales, and service excellence. Parties & Events Lead – Oversee birthday parties, group events, scheduling, staffing, upsell opportunities, and guest delight. F&B & Facilities Lead – Manage inventory, ordering, health and safety standards, maintenance of equipment and attractions, and facility projects. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. 2+ years of progressive experience in operations or guest‑facing roles, preferably in a fast‑paced environment. Prior supervisory or leadership experience. Experience in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation is strongly preferred. Proficiency with technology, POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable, self‑motivated, organized, and eager to grow into higher levels of responsibility. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and coach others. Ability to move throughout the park, interact with guests, and lift and carry at least 20 pounds. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $18.50 per hour. Full‑time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with company matching (eligibility based on age and tenure).
