Senior Technician: Access Control, CCTV & Low Voltage

Senior Installation & Troubleshooting TechnicianSource 1 Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Installation & Troubleshooting Technician for an internal opportunity supporting advanced field deployments and complex customer environments. This role is intended for experienced professionals within our organization who are looking to take on increased technical responsibility and project complexity.Position OverviewThe Senior Installation & Troubleshooting Technician plays a key role in delivering and supporting projects involving CCTV, LAN, Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS, and low-voltage/structured cabling systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to interpret detailed designs, and consistent communication with project leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and troubleshoot:CCTV systemsLAN infrastructureCellular DAS and Public Safety DASLow-voltage and structured cablingExecute work in accordance with detailed Scopes of Work, engineering designs, and blueprintsCollaborate with internal field teams and project leadershipProvide accurate daily and weekly status updates to supervisorsPerform local travel as required, with statewide and occasional East Coast travel (Company vehicles provided; travel expenses covered by Source 1 Solutions)Required Skills & ExperienceHigh-level knowledge of ICT and access control systemsStrong experience with commercial cabling infrastructure, including:CAT5 / CAT6Coaxial cablingFiberExperience installing and supporting:Wireless Access PointsLow-voltage data cabling (testing and termination)Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and construction drawingsProven ability to work effectively in a team-based environmentPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to work safely from ladders, rooftops, and lift equipmentAbility to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as indoorsEmployment RequirementsValid, clean driver's licenseAbility to pass background checks and drug screening (as required by customer or project)Maintain a professional appearance and represent Source 1 Solutions appropriately on customer sites
