Timekeeping & Payroll Support Specialist

Provides operational support for payroll and timekeeping processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role focuses on processing time corrections, supporting weekly payroll activities, handling check printing and distribution, and maintaining compliance with payroll controls and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process timekeeping corrections (missed punches, pay codes, accruals)
  • Support weekly payroll validation, audits, and issue resolution
  • Print and distribute payroll checks and manage mailings
  • Handle returned checks, reissues, and document tracking
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with internal controls

Core Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow strict deadlines and processes
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with payroll/timekeeping systems (e.g., SAP, UKG/Kronos preferred)

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; degree preferred
  • Prior payroll, HR operations, or timekeeping experience is a plus
