Patient Care Coordinator Location:

2800 Marcus Ave, Suite 102, Lake Success, NY 11042 Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours/week Shift:

7.5-hour shift between

8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Contract position through January 8, 2027 Job Summary We are seeking a

Patient Care Coordinator

to provide excellent patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role will assist patients throughout the check-in, appointment, and check-out process while supporting providers and clinical staff with daily administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Check in and check out patients and verify demographic information

Verify insurance cards, eligibility, and benefits

Obtain referrals when required

Schedule appointments and follow-up visits

Collect patient payments

Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling

Send messages to providers and clinical staff

Process faxes and maintain accurate documentation

Clear and manage work queues

Provide administrative support to multiple providers and staff as needed

Qualifications & Skills Strong

Ability to support multiple providers and manage competing priorities

Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient-facing experience preferred
