Credit Manager
Insight Global
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join a growing global organization and lead its credit, collections, and cash application functions. This individual will oversee a team of six professionals supporting multiple business divisions and will be responsible for driving consistent credit practices, improving collections performance, and strengthening processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on credit and collections leader who is comfortable balancing customer relationships, sales priorities, and organizational risk. This person should have strong B2B collections experience, proven negotiation skills, and the ability to partner directly with Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve complex credit and collections issues.
A major focus of the role will be establishing a consistent cadence around credit limit management, policies, processes, and escalation procedures, while also helping optimize the organization's HighRadius implementation and AR automation processes. The role currently supports operations across North America and Mexico, with the opportunity to grow into a broader global scope.
Responsibilities:
Lead credit, collections, and cash application operations, ensuring consistent performance across multiple business lines. Manage, coach, and develop a team of credit and collections professionals. Own credit limit management, credit risk, collections, and escalation processes. Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and customers to negotiate solutions while balancing customer relationships and company risk. Monitor key AR metrics including aging, DSO, bad debt, and delinquent accounts. Drive process improvements and automation, including optimizing HighRadius and resolving implementation challenges. Establish clear policies, procedures, reporting, and accountability across the credit function.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 60 days, this individual will focus on understanding the current environment, building relationships with the team and business stakeholders, and maintaining continuity in active collections. From there, they will begin implementing improvements across credit management, collections, escalation procedures, and HighRadius-related processes.
This role is best suited for someone who is resilient, hands-on, collaborative, and willing to own the function. The successful candidate will be able to identify problems, develop solutions, negotiate effectively with customers, and provide the structure needed for their team to operate independently and successfully.
Travel
Minimal travel is expected, approximately 2–4 times per year, depending on the employee's location and business needs.
