Provide full administrative and clerical support for the Duluth Distribution Center by performing the following duties.

  • Executing various administrative tasks related to supporting the DC management team and DC operations; including generating reports and data entry using MS Office and Google Suites.
  • Preparation of vendor invoice package for approval and batch submission.
  • Correspondence with vendors.
  • Review and gain an understanding of Standard Operating Procedure Manuals, Safety Management System, SAP processes and learning tools.
  • Assist in the execution of the Safety Management System.
  • Organized, maintained, and achieved all distribution center documentation both paper and electronically using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Assists in associate training programs and new hire onboarding.
  • Reporting - Assist in ad hoc reporting as needed by the Operations team.
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of social events.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extremely detail oriented and able to focus on details.
  • Able to manage strict deadlines, function with little managerial direction, and be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to multitask and take direction from multiple sources.
  • Excellent PC skills and proficient in all MS Office, Google Suites, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills; competency for understanding metrics and ability to present and communicate to management.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to influence without having direct authority.
  • Ability to work well across departmental lines and with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, spell and understand the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing/Distribution experience desirable.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
