Travel Pharmacy Technician in Lancaster, OH

A full-time Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available to support an independent retail pharmacy located about an hour south of Columbus, OH. This assignment requires an immediate start to cover for a technician who is out for approximately 8 weeks due to an injury. The role is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with retail or similar experience seeking a travel assignment in Ohio.
Location: Lancaster, OH (approximately 1 hour south of Columbus)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Duration: Around 8 weeks, starting ASAP
Setting: Independent/Retail Pharmacy
Volume: Approximately 130 prescriptions per day
Staffing: 1 technician plus 1 pharmacist
Key Responsibilities:
- Order entry and prescription fulfillment
- Verifying prescriptions for accuracy
- Managing phone calls and customer inquiries
- Assisting pharmacists with daily operations
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required
- Previous retail pharmacy or related experience preferred
- Experience with PioneerRX software is a plus but not required
