Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Woodbine, Iowa Reports To: Plant Maintenance Manager

Shift: 2nd shift (M-Th 3:30 PM-2:00 AM)

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to execute proper upkeep and maintenance of equipment, building and property at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with a working knowledge of upkeep and maintenance of various systems related to a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through execution of preventive maintenance program
• Maintain organization's physical operations including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems
• Complete fire and safety inspections as assigned to ensure property is following all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations
• Gain and maintain knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training
• Computer skills required:
• Spreadsheet Software (Excel)
• Inventory Software
• Project Management software
• Word Processing software (Word)
• Email Software (Outlook)
• MMS (Maintenance Management Software)

Desired Skills

• Two to three years of maintenance technician experience.
• Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability up to 480V
• Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
