Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students’ growth and well-being in an educational setting as a School Psychologist! Two exciting contract opportunities are available—one full-time and one dedicated to maternity leave coverage. Both roles offer a chance to collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team in a supportive school environment.
You’ll partner with educators, families, and students to help identify and address special learning and emotional/behavioral needs. Your expertise in psycho-educational assessment and consultation will guide positive, individualized strategies, contributing to the overall success of diverse learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in Georgia
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
- Ability to consult effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and students
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting students’ unique needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological assessments to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Provide direct support and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers and parents regarding student behavior, learning, and social-emotional development
