Material Handler

Material Handler Requisition Number: 33029 Location: York, SC 29745 We are currently looking for a Material Handler to assist the distribution team with the distribution of material, equipment, and supplies during outages and on‑line operations in York, South Carolina. Responsibilities Support the distribution team by moving and handling material, equipment, and supplies as needed during plant outages and online operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; significant material handling experience. Forklift qualified or willing to obtain forklift, stand and reach, motorized pallet jack, or other moving equipment qualifications. Ability to operate complex and critical equipment associated with material handling duties. Completion of basic rigging training as required. Maintain RWT (Railway Wrench Tool) qualifications and all required training. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting required from time to time). Valid state‑issued driver’s license. Basic computer skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, technical requirements, and safety procedures associated with working at a nuclear power plant. Commitment to personal safety and industrial safety. Assertive and self‑motivated; capable of working independently or with minimal supervision. Preferred qualifications include a valid Commercial Driver’s License. Pay Hourly pay: $17‑29 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
