Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-time Opportunities Join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland! We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a valued member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated staff and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. Openings 32 hours on 7a-3p, includes every other weekend 32 hours on 3p-11p, includes every other weekend Pay Competitive and weekly pay ranging from $40 to $45 an hour, depending on the shift Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care plans Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician Document resident progress and report any unusual or significant findings Participate in emergency procedures as necessary Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to positive resident and family relations Requirements Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state CPR certification Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures Leadership and supervisory skills Benefits Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees Career Advancement Opportunities Exclusive Employer Discount Program Available for Eligible Team Members Employer Paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Vacation and Personal Time Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
