Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Women's Services) Location Las Cruces, NM | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required Key Responsibilities Provide full spectrum maternal care within a Women's Services (Labor & Delivery) unit on a 17-bed floor Circulate and recover patients undergoing Cesarean Sections Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring in accordance with clinical standards Maintain patient ratios in compliance with AWHONN standards Float to NICU as required by unit needs Required Qualifications Active RN license with Labor & Delivery experience BLS certification required prior to start ACLS certification required prior to start NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to start Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required prior to start All clinical staff working in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while results are pending but must be supervised during that period Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates Preferred Experience / Skills Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred Experience with full spectrum maternal care including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum Familiarity with NICU float responsibilities Experience circulating and recovering Cesarean Section patients Why Join Us Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with over 75 years of service to the community, recognized for quality and compassionate care Located in southern New Mexico near White Sands National Park, the Organ Mountains, and hundreds of miles of scenic outdoor recreation opportunities Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776756.
