Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift 3x12

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3 shifts per week (3x12.0).

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. • Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis for an individualized care plan.
• Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to establish goals.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure quality direct patient care through the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning on admission and begin patient teaching in anticipation of discharge.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to other care providers to support continuity of care.
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures.

• Current RN license.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.
