Role Description The Fire Sprinkler Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingston, NH. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting pipe, assembling and installing sprinkler heads and related components, and using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively. The technician will troubleshoot system issues, perform repairs, document work performed, and communicate with supervisors, project managers, and clients as needed. The role also involves following all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and supporting other team members on job sites. Qualifications Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems and sprinkler components, with the ability to install, inspect, test, and repair these systems. Ability to work confidently with hand tools and related installation equipment, following safe work practices at all times. Experience with pipe installation, cutting, threading, and fitting in a construction or mechanical environment. Understanding of fire protection and life safety principles, applicable codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA guidelines) is preferred. Previous experience in fire protection, plumbing, or mechanical trades is beneficial. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift materials, work at heights, and perform tasks in various environmental conditions. Reliable transportation to the Kingston, NH worksite and job locations; valid driver's license may be required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
