Job Description
The Welder Fabricator is responsible for producing high-quality metal components primarily using steel for structural steel and custom metalwork projects. Working within a small team of 2 to 5 members, this role emphasizes precision, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fixed worksite environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and various fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints for project requirements
- Cut, assemble, and fabricate metal components accurately
- Conduct quality inspections and weld testing to ensure standards
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
- Handle materials and equipment properly throughout the fabrication process
- Maintain detailed documentation of welding and fabrication activities
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques
- Skilled in blueprint interpretation and metal fabrication methods
- Knowledgeable in safety standards and regulations
- Experienced in operating hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in welding fabrication
