Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment pathways
• Implement physical therapy methods to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work in tandem with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols and regulations
• Engage in care team meetings and collaborative discussions to ensure cohesive treatment plans

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory

• Prior experience strongly preferred
