PROCUREMENT ANALYST

Duties
You will collaborate with DON acquisition workforce to further the use of Category Management contract solutions by improving market research techniques and knowledge.
You will interpret contract award data to make recommendations to Heads if Contracting Activities to further the use of strategic Category Management solutions to realize better buying power.
You will answer, research, and provide advisement to questions relating to various acquisition or CM inquiries received from DASN (P), Heads of Contracting Activities (HCAs) or other acquisition workforce stakeholders.
You will develop a process to effectively manage the contracts tier designation resubmittal as it directly relates to DON continuing to meet their annual metrics.
You will provide training or education to the acquisition workforce on Category Management tools, Contractual Services, or market research practices.
You will explain Category Management practices and principles, strategies in educational/training events or workshops, discussions with customers, or Federal/DOD activities.
You will interpret and apply Contract Policy and Instructions, specifically M-19-13, DODI 5000.74 and SECNAVINST 5000.2G.
