Support Officer-Welfare Location: University of Exeter International Study Centre Salary: £27,799 pro-rated Band C Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time (0.5 FTE) We are looking for a caring, organised and proactive individual to join our Support Services team as a part-time Support Officer – Welfare. This is a rewarding role supporting international students throughout their studies, helping them navigate personal, wellbeing and welfare matters while ensuring they have access to the right support at the right time. You will play a key role in safeguarding students, including those under 18, and will work closely with colleagues, parents, partner agencies and university services to promote student wellbeing and success. The role would suit someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is confident handling sensitive situations, building positive relationships and managing a varied workload. You will be comfortable working independently, maintaining accurate records and responding calmly and professionally when issues arise. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience supporting young people or students and who are passionate about creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for learners from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Based across our INTO Centre and Duryard Halls in Exeter, this role includes participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota and support during key student arrival and departure periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr INTO University Partnerships
