We are seeking Heavy Haul Truck Drivers to join our team. Experience transporting heavy equipment and out-of-gauge freight using RGN and lowboy trailers.

The ideal candidate will have experience rigging loads and hauling oversize loads and be comfortable navigating permits, routes, and load limit requirements.

This position involves driving to and from the VA Ports (VIG, NIT) and rail lines to our local transloading facility and to regional customer locations. Local and regional runs = more time with your family.

Earning potential is $100,000 and more.

Duties :

• Secure loads by properly using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other equipment in accordance with company policies and legal standards
• Operate RGN and lowboy trailers to transport regular weight and heavy cargo, and over-dimensional loads

·        Safely operate a tractor-trailer vehicle to transport goods to and from Virginia Ports and rail lines (most trips are transloaded at our local Portsmouth VA yard, with occasional OTR required). 

·        Plan and execute routes based on size and weight restrictions

  Position Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) with a clean driving record, and DOT medical card; TWIC card preferred

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

· Heavy hauling and over-dimensional/out-of-gauge experience is required

· Occasional night and weekend work will be needed
