Schedule

Monday through Friday, 11 PM - 7:30 AM.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Assessment Specialist, RN will be responsible for conducting psychiatric and substance use assessments for adult and adolescent patients. The role requires a thorough evaluation process to inform treatment planning and care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in a psychiatric and substance use context.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
• Document assessments and treatment recommendations accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide support and guidance during evaluations for both patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license in Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in assessment and evaluation, preferably in psychiatric settings.
• Experience in triage, ER, or similar environments is preferred.
