About the Role

As a  Lead Teacher , you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children. You will help guide children's growth while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Our teachers help create a positive classroom culture while supporting children's emotional, social, and developmental needs.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the  health, safety, and supervision of children at all times
• Maintain classroom  ratios and supervision standards
• Support a  positive and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist with planning and implementing  developmentally appropriate activities
• Lead activities such as  storytime, centers, music, and play-based learning
• Encourage children to follow classroom  rules and routines
• Monitor children's  development and progress
• Communicate professionally with  parents and leadership
• Uphold Magic Memories  policies, procedures, and core values

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education (infant, toddler, or preschool age).
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma are also considered; pay will vary based on experience.
  • $20.00–$22.50/hour based on experience and education. Starting rate of $20.00/hour for candidates with an AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Candidates with less education may qualify at a different starting rate.
    
• CDA Pathway: $0.50/hour increase upon CDA enrollment, with an additional $0.50/hour after completion.
