Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care Treat residents one on one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach Deliver personalized therapeutic and rehabilitative care to senior living community residents to improve quality of life Requirements Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating swallowing disorders and communication impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
