Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive care to female post-operative patients and supporting labor and delivery processes within a Level 4 trauma unit. Candidates will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver individualized, seamless maternal and infant care.

Job Details

• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Qualifications: Valid licenses and certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), STABLE, and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certification; 1-2 years of labor and post-partum nursing experience required.
• Requirements: Must have Iowa SING background check with criminal and child abuse clearances, mandatory reporter certification (child and adult), 10-panel drug screening including opiates, titers within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
• Additional Information: The unit provides care for adult and infant patients with a patient ratio of 1:3, utilizing GE Centricity fetal monitoring and Meditech electronic health records. No float rotation required.
