Software Development Manager, Application Security

Amazon is seeking a dynamic and experienced software leader to lead our Core Infra Security Development team in building innovative tools and solutions that enhance API security evaluations across our global organization. With a broad mandate to experiment and innovate, we are aligning teams to solve our most complex issues at Amazon's peculiar fast pace.We are looking for candidates to join us as full-time Software Development Managers. Successful candidates will have led teams that solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices, building solutions that scaled and performed. You will also have a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.You will lead an Agile team in Seattle, launching and growing new initiatives for Amazon's Security Technical Foundations team. Your team will own the business, technology and operations, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
