Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long-Term Care



Contract: 13 Weeks



Shift: 12-Hour Nights



Pay Rate: $40.00/Hour

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN Long-Term Care (LTC) to join our healthcare team in Parkersburg, West Virginia . The ideal candidate will have 1 2 years of recent LPN experience , preferably in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or similar setting.

The LPN will provide quality nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to LTC/SNF residents.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.

• Monitor residents' health status and report changes promptly.

• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.

• Assist with development and implementation of individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.

• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards.

• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Active LPN license eligible to practice in West Virginia.

• 1 2 years of LPN experience required.

• LTC/SNF experience preferred.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts .

• Ability to complete the full 13-week contract .
