As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Monitor in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while delivering reliable and responsive service throughout your assigned post.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and communicate with staff and/or first responders regarding security-related issues or requests for assistance.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing incident reports, logs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
