Patient Scheduler – Clinic Orthopedic Job Location: University Health 1 (UH1), 101 Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri Department: UH1 Clinic Orthopedic UHTMC Position Type: Full time, Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Hours per week: 40 Join Our Team as a Patient Scheduler! As a Patient Scheduler, you'll be the go‑to person for scheduling appointments, handling check‑ins and check‑outs, and making sure everything runs like clockwork. What You'll Do Every Day: Be the friendly first point of contact—greet patients, answer questions, and set the tone for a great visit Schedule appointments, ensuring the clinic stays busy and efficient Verify insurance, collect co‑pays, and keep all financial information up to date Maintain accurate and organized patient records Help patients navigate resources such as financial assistance, referrals, and insurance options Work closely with clinic staff to keep everything running smoothly Why You'll Love It Here: A positive and supportive work environment—your teammates have your back!
