As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for children in need of assistance. What you’ll do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
• Assist with medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain cleanliness in the center's space by performing housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Basic qualifications

• Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes effectively.
• Experience in assisted living or home health settings, particularly with pediatrics or long-term care experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
• CPR certification and pediatric experience are highly desirable.
