We build the foundation — literally. $20–$27/hr 40 hrs/week Mon–Fri Outfitting Provided FnD Piers uniquely manufactures its own helical piers in-house — giving us a competitive edge in quality and turnaround that no other company in our region can match. We're looking for a motivated welder and fabricator to join our helical shop team in Aurora. This is a hands‑on, highly repetitive manufacturing role where precision, quota attainment, and team accountability matter every single day. You'll be working with pipe, flights, plasma tables, and presses. This role involves daily heavy equipment handling and significant physical labor. Every day you show up, you're contributing directly to the product that keeps foundations solid across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and beyond. Day-to-Day Job Duties Highly repetitive helical pier manufacturing — hitting daily quotas set by the shop manager Heavy equipment handling and physical labor throughout the day Welding flights and components to pipe stock Pressing flights onto pipe Moving and staging pipe throughout the shop Coding and marking pipe for specifications Operating the plasma cutting table Staying organized and cleaning up your work area without being asked Keeping pace with a fast-moving shop with lots of moving parts Culture Ownership You're a self-starter. You pass regular drug tests. The team can count on you to be there and perform. Hard Work This is a physically demanding, repetitive manufacturing job. We need someone who takes pride in working hard and hitting their numbers day in, day out. What We Need Requirements Welding experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation to and from the shop daily Active smartphone (used for communication and workflow) Ability to pass regular drug tests Punctuality — work days start at the shop in Aurora on time Preferred: live within 30 minutes of the shop Appearance Standards Professional Image We hold our team to a clean, professional standard. The following are required to work at FnD Piers: No facial piercings or facial tattoos Clean, professional appearance at all times No vaping, smoking, or dipping on the job No smell of smoke at work — pouches are acceptable Straight Talk from the Shop We're not looking for someone we have to manage every minute. We need a person who comes in, gets to work, and doesn't need to be told twice. If you can weld, show up on time, pass a drug test, and take pride in your work — we want to hear from you. Compensation Pay & Time Off $20–$27/hr based on experience 5 paid sick days per year (after 1 year of employment) 5 paid vacation days per year (after 1 year of employment) Unused sick days paid out as a year-end bonus Note: Vacation days do not roll over year to year.
