If you can sell, talk to people, and stay consistent, you should be making more than average money.

We are hiring competitive field reps to sell Astound, Verizon, Comcast/Xfinity, and other internet and mobile services throughout Maryland and DC.

This is a straightforward sales job: work your territory, talk to a lot of people, get good at the pitch, close deals, and get paid. Full-time W-2 and independent 1099 opportunities are available.

Compensation

Estimated annual earnings: $74,000–$183,000+

This is performance-based compensation with no guaranteed base salary .

W-2 representatives earn commissions and performance incentives. Qualified reps may also become eligible for gas, phone, vehicle, and other production-based allowances.

1099 opportunities are available for experienced reps who want more flexibility and independence.

If you are good at sales and actually work, there is strong upside here.

Why Telecom

Almost every house already pays for internet and mobile service.

You are not trying to convince someone to buy something they have never heard of.

The conversation is usually:

• Can we give you faster internet?
• Can we improve your service?
• Can we lower your bill?
• Can we get you a better mobile plan or new phone?

Fiber is expanding, 5G continues to grow, and providers are competing aggressively for customers.

That creates a lot of opportunities for reps who are willing to get in front of enough people.

What You'll Be Doing

This is 80–90% residential door-to-door sales .

You will work assigned local territories and speak directly with residents about their current internet and mobile service.

Additional sales opportunities may include scheduled events, retail locations, and other customer-acquisition channels.

Your job is to:

• Work your assigned territory
• Talk to customers
• Find out what they currently have and what they pay
• Present better internet or mobile options
• Handle objections
• Close sales
• Submit orders correctly
• Follow up with customers
• Rework productive areas
• Keep your activity and production consistent

Previous experience in door-to-door, telecom, wireless, solar, roofing, pest control, home improvement, automotive, retail sales, or other commission sales is preferred.

If you already know you can sell, great.

If you have not done outside sales before but you are confident, competitive, good with people, and willing to work, we are willing to train the right person.

We care more about work ethic, consistency, and production than having the perfect resume.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Schedule

Full-time W-2 reps work primarily Monday through Thursday during afternoon and evening hours , when residential customers are most available.

Friday and Saturday opportunities are also available depending on territory, production, weather, and scheduled events.

1099 reps may have more scheduling flexibility.

This is an in-person field sales position, not remote.

Training & Territory

You will receive a defined territory and training on:

• Opening conversations
• Qualifying customers
• Running the pitch
• Handling objections
• Closing
• Re-closing
• Territory management
• Follow-up
• Increasing daily production

We are not interested in wasting hours in meetings.

Learn the pitch. Work the territory. Talk to enough people. Close business. Get paid.

Strong producers may also have opportunities to move into training, recruiting, territory leadership, and team management.
