Data Center - Server Build Tech

SBT II Datacenter Technicians (Contract) 5-Month Contract | September 2026 – January 2027 Onsite Datacenter Environment $25 - $27 per hour Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week Responsibilities Troubleshoot provisioning, network, and OS installation issues. Perform datacenter walkthroughs and document server alarms. Open and manage customer tickets as needed. Run hardware diagnostics and support inventory resolution efforts. Respond to rack-level outages, faulty links, optics issues, and networking device failures. Escalate major incidents to Tier III Support or Site Management. Requirements Available for the full contract period (September 2026 - January 2027). Previous hands-on datacenter experience required. Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, networking, and OS support. Ability to follow procedures, documentation standards, and escalation processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Industry credentials such as CompTIA A+, Server+, or Network+. Specialized Hardware: Prior experience with high-performance computing (HPC) or specialized AI/GPU infrastructure platforms. Environment: Familiarity with enterprise ticketing workflows, asset management tracking, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety compliance.
