Missouri Neurological Surgeon - Only 1 Week Per Month

An opportunity is now available for a board-certified Neurological Surgeon to provide essential call coverage in Missouri. This ongoing locums assignment is ideal for a physician seeking a predictable, low-volume role with the potential for a long-term contract.

Highlights:

• Only 1 week of coverage needed per month
• Long-term assignment potential
• Low volume with 3-4 phone consults per 24 hours

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient medical setting
• Collaboration with a Stroke Team and Neurohospitalists
• Dedicated support from the Stroke Nursing Team and Neurosurgery Trauma Team

Schedule:

• Ongoing locums need
• Consistent 7 days of coverage monthly
• 24-hour beeper call schedule

Procedures and Cases:

• Coverage is specific to Interventional Stroke call
• Cases consist primarily of phone consults

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
• Active Missouri medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 24 months of experience

Credentialing Requirements:

• 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Temporary privileges are available to facilitate a quicker start

Travel Accommodations:

• Travel and lodging provided
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included
