Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position requires a qualified healthcare professional to provide perioperative nursing care in various surgical specialties. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment. The role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate department needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shift times from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license. Experience working in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Gastrointestinal (GI), Pre/Postoperative, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Interventional Radiology (IR). Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system. Travel experience or prior experience working across multiple sites preferred.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR PLUS) preferred.
• Shift Details: Flexible shift times between 06:30 and 15:00; call requirements based on department needs, currently every other day and every other weekend, beginning Friday at 3:00 PM and ending Monday at 7:00 AM.
• Additional Information: May float onsite where skill set is met or to other sites within 40 miles. Holidays are assigned as needed.
