JOB SUMMARY The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, PCT skill level and abilities. The PCT provides care for the adolescent, adult or geriatric patient. REQUIREMENTS Preferred High School Diploma Completion of High School or GED required. Less than 2 years Successful completion of Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required. Previous Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Required CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Carroll Hospital Center is a minimal-lift facility which means that any moving or lifting of patients must be done with appropriate equipment and/or techniques taught through the Safe Lift program.
