Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/certification
• Experience working with middle school-age students preferred
• Familiarity with resource room models and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging educational climate
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Deliver differentiated instruction in a resource classroom setting
• Develop, review, and implement IEPs in compliance with regulations
• Track student progress and maintain ongoing communication with team members and parents
• Provide academic and behavioral interventions to meet diverse learning needs
• Create a positive, inclusive environment that motivates students to succeed
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and ensure successful integration
