The PetIQ Relief Veterinarian’s primary purpose is to provide high‑quality preventive care and client education at our weekday or weekend Community Clinics, ensuring that PetIQ procedures are followed to maintain our reputation as a leader in quality, affordable preventive healthcare for pet parents. Essential Functions/Job Duties On‑site Veterinarian care for our weekday and weekend community clinics Perform brief medical exam, including vitals Administer vaccines, limited diagnostic testing, microchipping, nail trim Educate pet parents on preventative healthcare & products Updating of electronic medical records Clearly deliver and perform up to PetIQ medical standards & best practices Strengthen PetIQ brand Minimum Requirements Must be a licensed DVM in the state looking to practice in Liability insurance: 1M per occurrence / 2M aggregate Ability to drive to a variety of locations Weekend availability Ability to use iPad / Tablet Physical Requirements Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
