Job Title: RN Infusion Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Pending License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must be ultrasound guided IV trained and PICC trained Description: RN Infusion position available. This is a consult-based service servicing inpatient and outpatient areas. The team utilizes both traditional IV insertion techniques and advanced ultrasound-guided technology to place peripheral IVs, midlines, and peripherally inserted central catheters. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in ultrasound-guided vascular access placement. Experience with PICC placement using ECG technology is required. The role involves difficult IV placements, cannulating and decannulating implanted ports, and managing CVC dressings. Candidates should also be familiar with declotting central lines and midline placements. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting concerning vascular access issues. Proficiency in ultrasound technology is necessary. Candidates should have experience with EPIC documentation. The position requires coverage for two weekends (Saturday/Sunday) per six-week schedule period. Screening will be conducted if any required skills are missing. This position does not require on-call duty. All candidates must meet compliance requirements before starting.
