We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Bristol, Connecticut. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, researching information, working with numbers, and ensuring invoices are completed accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will play a key role in billing operations, accounts receivable management, customer communication, and administrative support. While experience with QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat is a plus, we are willing to train the right individual who brings strong computer skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Receivable

• Prepare, process, and submit invoices accurately and on schedule
• Review billing documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Research job details, service records, and supporting documents to ensure proper billing
• Meet daily billing production goals
• Follow invoices through completion while resolving discrepancies
• Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts and collections activities
• Maintain organized billing and financial records

Administrative Support

• Assist with company email management and professional correspondence
• Update and maintain information within Monday.com
• Support the owner with various administrative projects and daily tasks
• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, document management, and general office duties
• Help coordinate scheduling and appointment support as needed

Customer & Team Communication

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, technicians, and coworkers
• Address billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
