The Catering Sous Chef plays a key role in bringing this vision to life—supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising kitchen staff. This position is responsible for maintaining consistency, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and culinary standards. Compensation: The salaried rate for this position is $66,300.00 to $75,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. Job Responsibilities Train and lead kitchen personnel Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food Select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done makes a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
