Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Join a Leadership Team That Makes an Impact

The Hilltop at Blue River is seeking a compassionate and driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our clinical team and help deliver exceptional care to our residents. If you’re a strong RN or LPN leader looking to grow your career in long-term care, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
Support, coach, and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Help manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives
Step in as acting DON when needed

What We’re Looking For

Active RN or LPN license (required)
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or similar)
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Excellent communication and team-building skills
Passion for resident-centered care

Bonus Points If You Have

ADON or Unit Manager experience
Experience with EMR systems
History of strong survey outcomes
