School Health Assistant (CMA)

School Health Assistant (CMA) provides essential health support within schools, focusing on diabetes management and general student well-being. The role ensures compliance with health regulations and collaborates with staff to create a safe, healthy environment. This 36-week contract offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in school health services, including diabetes management and general health support
Maintain and submit necessary documentation such as affidavits and CCH
Support school staff and students through health-related procedures and emergencies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and school personnel to promote student well-being

Qualifications:

Unlicensed diabetes care assistants (UDCA) or licensed professionals
Must submit affidavit and CCH
Must be available to start ASAP
Physical capability to perform job duties
Background check compliance required
