ICE’s Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) is the federal government’s most prestigious legal division, and you can be part of it. In addition to Headquarters in Washington, D.C., there are 25 OPLA Field Locations in more than 60 cities throughout the United States. Our attorneys represent DHS in immigration court and provide legal advice to special agents and officers from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). We are currently seeking to hire qualified attorneys for the following locations: Birmingham, AL New Orleans, LA Baton Rouge, LA Jena, LA Oakdale, LA Memphis, TN Nashville, TN Salary: $63,163 to – $138,296 per year The pay grade for these positions ranges from GS-11 to GS-14. We’re currently offering hiring bonuses of up to $50,000. Recruitment incentives may be available to eligible candidates, in which case a service agreement will be required.
