Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assuming care, managing and coordinating patient treatment as directed by the referring physician. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Physical Therapist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Completes initial evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients
• Completes set up plan of care and goal for physical therapy after initial evaluation
• Documents physical therapy patients in accordance to the guidelines of the Rehab Department policies
• Supervises PTA and PT aide
• Manages and coordinates patient treatment as directed by the referring physician reports to the Director of Rehabilitation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Expected exposure to hazardous materials, infectious waste, blood and body fluids is high.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association preferred
• Current Oklahoma Physical Therapy license OR be eligible for license in the state of Oklahoma AND able to practice under the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Must have completed licensure by 6 months after initial temporary license is issued. (Must present letter/permit proving eligibility upon hire.)
• CPR Certification
• Experience in Physical Therapy preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Driver's License from the state of residence, driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier and auto insurance verification.
