Conference Center Dining Server

The Dining Server provides exceptional service to our Conference Center guests by personally engaging with the guests to make their stay enjoyable while offering food and beverage service, clearing and bussing, and performing setup, reset and cleaning tasks. The ultimate aim is to bless and minister to guests, as applicable, in the dining realm of guest service, in a manner consistent with MHA's mission, vision and values.

The Dining Server is a Ministerial Support position. Ministerial Support staff serve in operational and service support roles and are not required to personally affirm Mount Hermon Association, Inc.'s ("MHA") Christian mission, vision and beliefs. However, it is expected that staff who fill these roles - no matter their personal beliefs - respect, work in harmony with, and not undermine MHA's Christian mission, vision and beliefs. Additionally, they are required to abide by MHA's culture code and standards of conduct. All staff are expected to join gatherings, which includes prayer, worship, and Bible-centered teaching.

Part Time, Hourly. $16.50/Hr-$18.00/Hr

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

One year of High School preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Ability to walk and be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.
• Work primarily indoors with occasional shifts worked outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work most major holidays with the exception of Christmas.
• Prefer applicants with weekday and weekend availability.
• Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in Mount Hermon's Mission, Vision, Values and Commitment statements.
• Ability to arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
• Ability and willingness to actively engage with the rest of the dining staff in serving up to 900 guests at a time.
• Satisfactory completion of background investigation, or valid work permit, as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must agree to and comply with Mount Hermon's employee driving guidelines for Mount Hermon owned vehicles and personal vehicles for business purposes.
