Job Description

Start your trucking career with a company that invests in new drivers. If you recently earned your Class A CDL and are looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience, 365 Freight USA is hiring recent CDL-A graduates in the Springfield, Illinois area for a paid mentor program.

You will spend four to six weeks on the road with an experienced trainer, learning the responsibilities of professional driving beyond CDL school. After successfully completing the training program, you will transition to your own truck and may earn $1,600–$1,800 per week.

What you will do during training

You will ride with an experienced driver who will help you develop the skills and confidence needed to operate independently. Training will include:

Safe driving and trip planning
Pickups and deliveries
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Communication with dispatch
Daily responsibilities of an over-the-road driver

After successfully completing the mentor program, you will transition to your own truck and begin driving solo on the open road.

What we are looking for

We are seeking motivated individuals who are ready to learn, work hard, and build a successful career in trucking.

Valid Class A CDL
Graduation from an accredited CDL school
Clean motor vehicle record
Ability to meet Department of Transportation qualification requirements
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Safety-focused and dependable approach to work

No previous professional driving experience is required.
